CTCAP Group doubles its hash power with new mining facility in Iceland.

September 15, 2022

CTCAP Group is strengthening its Zero Emission Mining strategy and has now partnered with Sygnum Bank to take the next step.

Sygnum Bank has developed a new model of financing for carbon-neutral crypto-mining, which is secured via hash power. Such a financial service is not available from traditional financial institutions and is an absolute innovation on the market. CTCAP Group is one of the two first market participants to secure such a loan.

The new mining facility will generate about 165 PH/s and will be powered by the latest generation of Bitmain hydrominers. CTCAP Group is relying on its long-time service partners in Iceland, who use 100% renewable energy sources to power the facility. The new facility is expected to go online on 1 November 2022. The following mining project for Q1/2023 is already in the starting blocks.
